This stand gave me everything I needed and nothing more. I needed a stand that could be raised and lowered, tilted and the monitor rotated to portrait. This stand does all of those things. Now I can enjoy my favorite thing about writing on a computer: seeing an entire page of text at 100% magnification. Assembly and installation took about 45 minutes. I didn't actually need any help, but an extra pair of hands came in really handy to keep everything steady as space constraints meant I had to assemble the entire assembly and then slide it onto the table instead of following the instructions as they were written. . In this case, you shouldn't have any difficulties.
