I just got my new stool. Actually, my expectations were pretty low. I thought we'd just start with that, so who cares. When I unpacked it I was amazed at how good it is. I really can't tell you if it's durable or not, but it definitely looks like it. It has wooden legs or feet. High quality fabric. The lid opens easily, has a black lining, and feels solid. It fits perfectly in the box with no protrusions. That's really a great height to sit on the couch and put your feet up. It's larger than the ottoman that came with the chair we have. This is a great place to hide the remote control, tissue boxes, books, etc. Everyone was already sitting on it. My husband weighs over 220 pounds and he felt safe. I just love it.
