is a lovely little teapot that I find to be sturdy and perfect for a cup or two of tea. However, the main reason I bought it was its supposed ability to whistle - unfortunately it doesn't whistle at all. I've tried tightening the lid, filling the pan with water, but it still doesn't whistle. After filling the pot completely, the best we could hear was a very low hum, and that was only when we were standing next to the stove. Also, the handle got so hot that an oven mitt had to be used. Unfortunately this lovely little pot is back and I'll be looking for one with a better design to guarantee a flying start! Two stars because it doesn't do what it's supposed to: whistle!
