Not suitable for tall or wide-legged people.

I've had a lot of pants like this and I've liked all of them. I decided I liked them enough to try the shorts on, but I never tried them on before buying, I assumed it was just a cropped version of the pants and I was almost right. . The cut is the same as the pants but I have two complaints about them. 1. My average height is 6'4" with a 36" inseam and the legs of these shorts are a bit short for my liking and because of the shorter legs the cargo pockets are not as deep as the pants and therefore not suitable for secure storage of larger items that fit neatly in cargo pant pockets. 2. As I was taller and was spending much-needed time in the gym, I lost a few extra inches from my waist. I reduced my waist from 40" to 36". The problem with these shorts, like pants, is that with a smaller waist, they also have smaller legs, and since I have larger than average hips, I lose some mobility. In conclusion, if you have an athletic build with muscular legs, I wouldn't recommend buying them without trying them on first, unless you're comfortable wearing clothes that fit like spandex with no flex. If you're of average height then these are probably the tactical shorts for you, but I still recommend that you try them on first.
