New cartridges just installed today (except photo). The printer doesn't recognize the cartridges as HP, but all you do is click OK and it goes away. Now if you turn off the printer when not in use, you'll be notified every time you turn it on. Be very careful when opening the cartridges, if you squeeze them they will leak a little. It's in the installation instructions. I would suggest having a paper towel handy and maybe a pair of gloves in case of a spill. I have jaundice on my fingers. I would suggest holding them upside down when removing the orange caps, pressing your fingers against the short sides (the side with the clip and the opposite side). This way you put the least amount of pressure on the ink compartment. This is the main reason they get 4 stars. Also, what I've seen with the ink levels is that you have to turn the printer off and on again to see the correct ink level. After that I generated a print report which showed all the correct information and even the cartridges as HP 564XL on line 29 of the ink number. In short I would recommend these cartridges but be careful how you handle them.
