Lock the front brake.
These things look great out of the box. The packaging was nice, there was no scratch. Installed on my 08 CBR600rr and was wondering why everything seems so much more solid than the stock button. The lever doesn't snag the cable like stock and always applies the front brake easily. This is really dangerous and can lead to front brake failure. I would not recommend them.
