Well made filter but charcoal fouls it right out of the box
Looks like a well made filter. My only issue with this is the dark color which I suspect is due to the carbon used to filter out impurities. The problem is that right out of the box the filter looks dirty. When I took my car for an oil change shortly after the installation, they tried to tell me the filter needed to be changed. I had to agree, that's what it looked like.
- Prevents harmful particles from entering the engine and increasing engine wear
