Okay, apart from being MUCH longer and bigger than I expected (because I read the specs - no, I didn't), it works like a charm To be really quick and peel the zest from the lemons well. I assume it works just as well as a hand grater if you only need to prepare a small batch of something when a food processor seems overkill. I've baked a lot and I LOVE anything lemon flavored (and citrus in general). The grater I had before was gone (I don't know how that could have gone in the first place). I finally gave in and ordered this one. It feels very good in the hand, the metal slides easily over the surface of the lemon. I have arthritis in my hands so it was literally a relief to have something that works so easily. Zester comes with a lid and a small cleaning brush. But despite my five-star rating (I'd actually rate it a four-and-a-half if I could), it's actually not that easy to clean. It looks a little dishwasher sensitive so I gave it a good rinse under running water with a brush and it still took a while to get all the parts off. You don't really want to touch the metal cutting blades lest you rub them off your skin. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, although at this point I'm not sure how long the tool will last.
