Very happy with these logs. The most realistic we've ever seen. Agree with another reviewer that if the plastic reflector were rectangular rather than crescent shaped it wouldn't be noticeable. The RLG20 does not come with additional bottom charcoals, but we purchased them separately. They probably add to the overall setting and realism, but are WAY overpriced for what they are. The heater works quite well, but I'm not sure it will heat a large room effectively. Please note that when you turn off part of the heater, the fan will continue to blow for about 60 seconds, but will turn off by itself. It is very convenient to use without heating function. If you have Alexa (Echo) or a similar device, you can have fireplace sounds placed, making it even more realistic.
