I've had Andis for many years and the problem was that it irritated my face a bit and got very hot. However, he never pulled his hair, not once. This new Wahl T styler excels in all categories except for the fact that it pulls the hair VERY (which is a big minus). My guess is that it's just a much weaker engine than AndisUpdate: I didn't lube it before first use. Pulled just a little after oiling. After slowing down the stroke rate compared to what I'm used to, there is no boost. However, I have to deduct a star for this, although I am definitely satisfied with the low level of skin irritation.
