I wanted to replace the large rinse tank that had seen better days and thought it would be good because all I ever put in the tank was a sponge. The first thing I put on the kitchen sink was china. I cleaned and dried the area and installed one of the holders. He fell off quickly. I tried a second time and lightly wet the suction cup like I do with other suction cups. It still didn't stick. I then took a closer look at the suction cup and noticed that the rim was not flat, as if it had been flattened during packaging. I have tried in vain to smooth it out. Then I pulled out the second holder and it worked great. I was planning on using the second one for my sink, which is one of those big deep sinks made out of some sort of polymer material - I don't know what, but it's in the plastic family. Neither the defective holder nor the holder working with porcelain could stick to the sink. All in all not a bad price to get at least one working. Buy cheap, what can I expect?
