Review on Essentials Leather Task Chair Adjustable by Michael Fairfield

This is a bonded leather so don't expect real leather for the price you are paying for this chair. If you want full grain leather you have to be prepared to pay WAY more than this chair is worth. You get your value for the price of this chair. The chair is very comfortable and surprisingly light. My only criticism was the instructions themselves. Where the backrest attaches to the underside of the seat, the two longer bolts have 2 different washers. There is no explanation as to where the laundry should go. I asked my father who is an engineer and my brother who is a programmer who works for another office furniture manufacturer and they both gave me different answers. I ended up placing them between the bottom of the seat and the bars themselves as there was a gap that seemed to be filled when the bars were placed onto the seat board. I don't know if I did the right thing but with no written instructions or explanation in the included instructions or even a YouTube assembly tutorial for this model. There was no way of knowing while I was in the build process. I suggest that the company actually explains where ALL PARTS should go, even if they are tiny washers.
