Pros: - Fan speed can be adjusted - There are two USB ports on the panel itself (one to power the laptop and one to connect another device) - Surface EVERYTHING is suitable for use (there is a grid that the laptop sits on, it's higher than any flat plastic surface, so while it's not big enough for big laptops, it can still be used for cooling) - There's a good base , which can be used to prevent the laptop from sliding forward (but can also be closed when not needed (probably needs to stay closed if a 17" laptop is used with it). Nice feature .but something that is not needed often so the downside is that it opens by itself, there is no latch to keep it in the closed positio to keep. So if you take it, if you don't hold it th backwards, then it will open and then latch. All these cooling pads are more expensive than they used to be. While this one is on the cheaper side, I still think it was a little more than worthwhile (but also cheaper than other comparable pads).
