Review on 🏷️ Brother P-Touch PTH110 Lightweight Label Maker with Qwerty Keyboard and One-Touch Keys - White by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very easy to use - wish it had more fonts

So this thing is very easy to use. I bought it because of the QWERTY keyboard instead of other cheap label printers. Many others in this price range have an ABC style model. I thought typing would take longer than I'm used to. The build quality is good. It doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything. If you buy Brother branded tape it's quite expensive but there are all sorts of aftermarket suppliers offering refills for a lot less so that's a plus. I have a few problems, but none of them are serious. 1) Why are there only 3 fonts? You can select Helsinki, Brussels, or Florida. I photographed all three. I just wish there were more options. 2) Brother should really consider putting frequently used characters as "SHIFT+" function on the numeric keypad. It's a bit annoying when you have to dig through the menu to get the dollar sign. 3) Why does the machine use about 2.5 cm of ribbon to print? I understand that the margin can be reduced. I'm talking about the small amount he spits out before he types. I'm under the impression that this feature is only there to throw stuff away (thus forcing you to buy more). Overall I am satisfied and would buy again. *** My Rating Criteria *** Build Quality (47.5%) - 5.0 Star Efficiency (47.5%) - 4.0 Star Customer Service (0.0%) - n/a Packaging/Presentation (5, 0 %) - 5.0 Stars WEIGHTED AVERAGE (100.0%) - 4.5 STARS
