The remote control plays all sorts of sounds and the volume control is great because some children's toys only have two options: louder and louder. My toddler can easily hold the remote control and play by himself. The buttons are easy for him to press. The phone is not that interesting for my 6 month old baby. He shows no interest in it. He's having a hard time pressing the phone buttons and only one light is on. He looks at the phone for a minute and then loses interest. The devices were delivered without batteries, but luckily we had a hiding place. For the price, it's worth it just for the remote control alone. The phone needs to be redesigned for kids. The phone may become more attractive as my son grows up.
