As with other reviews, I spent hours trying to get a working bar to connect to the cable, following the instructions to the letter and watching various videos. Once I managed to get an intermittent red light for a while. The connections were clearly unreliable, as slight wire movement could cause the connection to fail. You really only have one try as the connectors are not designed to be reopened and can fail under duress. Similar problem with 5050 ribbon: copper connectors break when the connector is closed and the ribbon gets damaged when you try to retry a failed connection or disconnect the connector. I'll try soldering, or basically anything other than this. I can't tell if this is a Bzone issue or if this type of clamp connection is generally useless no matter who you buy it from. I suspect the latter. waste of money.
