Review on Midland AVPH3 Black Security Headsets with PTT/VOX - Pair: Crystal Clear Communications by Mark Walsh

Okay, the name must sound strange. But this headset hates the left ear for some reason. I also read the previous review. I use this for my work at a private school as a student activity coordinator. (Yes, my job is cool, I know.) Either this headset, or one of the many headsets with a boom mic in front of my mouth, makes me look like a member of the Backstreet Boys. Of course, since I work with middle school students, this is not an option if I want to maintain confidence. I bought these headphones and the sound quality is amazing, I can hear other teachers and administrators talking to me in daylight. . The microphone is not clamped in the sleeve, but directly below the neck on the shirt collar. The microphone is powerful enough to pick up my voice without having to tilt my head to speak into it. MARVELOUS. The only downside is that this headset sucks in my left ear. It just doesn't stay in. My left ear is oddly shaped? I'm open to the possibility. But for some reason it will stay just to my right. That's the only thing that worries me, and it's really the last thing on the list of things I think are important. High quality headset and a bargain at this price. Take it, you'll be happy in your right ear.
