Much better than soap!
This material works well. I figured I'd just use dish soap to save a few bucks. That does not work. The difference is that it doesn't foam, it's not slimy, but cleans the surface so the paint can stick. I use this before prepping the vinyl and the spray went perfectly. I'm glad I bought it.
