BLUF: Not for Plug and Play. First, it's a well-made product. The spring has the right tension, the plastic feels like glass-reinforced nylon, and has a metal frame to support the perimeter. It turns my bulky keys and keychain into a nice square block that fits in the coin pocket of most jeans. But. The silicone rubber used on the buttons is thin and will not fit properly on your factory circuit board. The same installation problem also arises when attempting to mount the board in a keychain, as this requires sawing off the reliefs on the bottom and sides to make the board flat. The final downside is that the user has to remove the battery holder/spring from their factory keychain in order to attach it. Finally, most locksmiths will not cut the blank key that comes with this keychain and if they do you can clip the key at the end to keep it working properly.
