Review on Carhartt Acrylic Watch Cap - Grey Beanie Ski Hat: Your Ultimate Winter Headwear by Justin Castro

So my wonderful winter wool knitted hat that has served me faithfully for many years is finally starting to fall apart. I couldn't find anything to replace it. I love Carhartt stuff, I live in Carhartt artist pants so, as described, I decided to buy "Carhartt-Acrylic Watch Cap-Black Branded Winter Ski Hat, Beanie". That pretty much speaks for itself. I thought a $40 Carhartt knit hat was supposed to be pretty good, but it was so nondescript I didn't even bother to take it out of the plastic bag. Looks like a $12-$15 acrylic knit hat. According to the label it is A18. On the Carhartt website, they sell A18 baseball caps for $12.99. Revain also sells A18 caps for $12.99. As well as 5 other sellers. I bought mine at a store called Golf Prose for $39.95. That's more than triple the price. Reviews for the baseball caps that Golf Prose sells are generally very good. The reviews you might notice are usually very short and often emphasize how warm the hat is. I assume the hat I bought for $40 is the same hat sold elsewhere for $13 unless I'm missing something. Am I feeling naive? Yes. Should have done my homework before buying. Hope this review helps.
