Review on 🐈 Urine Off Cat Odor and Stain Remover - 1 Gallon: Powerful Solution for Pet Accidents by Angela Freed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

To be honest the ONLY product that has worked for me.

I've tried over 20 products to get rid of the smell and discoloration of cat urine. Some products helped reduce the odor, others just masked it. The easiest way was to remove the pad. However, the smell remained and I was at a loss. Then my father recommended Urine Off. To be honest I was skeptical. I've tried so many other products that have great reviews and are guaranteed to work, but they just aren't for me. We removed the damaged carpet in our house and the concrete was stained with urine. (I was shocked and very embarrassed! I had no idea the damage was that bad.) I followed the directions - poured the product directly onto the concrete, scrubbed it and left it overnight. (I didn't have plastic big enough to cover it so I used a travel tarp and it worked great!) I finished the concrete 3 nights in a row (didn't clean last night). The stains really went away along with the smell! We put in a new floor and my cats have stopped peeing outside the litter box! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace the floor in a household with pets. I cannot guarantee results for others, but this is my honest review and this is the ONLY product that has met my needs 100%. I really wish this product was cheaper but with the results I've had I would buy it again and again.** ADDITIONAL INFO** I have 5 cats. I never had a problem peeing outside of the litter box until my older dog started having incontinence issues. My dog peed on the carpet once and the cat followed him. I have tried all sorts of other cleaners and air fresheners, use the Rug Doctor more times than I can count and even have carpets professionally cleaned. Nothing has completely eliminated the smell. Although the smell was still there, the cats continued to urinate onto the carpet. Little did I know that the urine penetrated so deeply and actually crystallized in the concrete. If you have problems like this, you MUST treat the concrete to fix the problem. We have replaced our carpeting with LVP (waterproof boards) flooring. We chose this option because it's much easier to see the dirty things on the floor and remove them before the smell develops. Being waterproof also helps protect the concrete from further damage. However, after treating the concrete and replacing the floor, the cats stopped urinating outside the litter box. We also moved 1 tray to a new location on the other side of our house to allow for more toilet space, which may have helped as well.

Pros
  • Completely and permanently removes urine stains and odors
Cons
  • So-so
