I opened the box and the first bulb was lit in less than five minutes. I've read about problems finding a 2.4G wireless network, but even connecting to my Orbi system was seamless. The SmartLife app recognized and added the lightbulb immediately. Then I renamed it (Porch) and put it outside. He immediately connected to the application and had no problems. All lamps except one are instantly connected through an automated system in the application. It took three attempts to connect the fourth bulb, meaning that setting up that one bulb took nearly six minutes. These lamps dim to a VERY low level. Colors are also very vibrant and displayed accurately in the app. I like the ability to group bulbs for timers or color changes, but I'd like to see more flexible schedule programming, like e.g. B. The Google Home app recognized the lightbulbs via the SmartLife app. It only takes a few intuitive touches on the screen via the Google app and you have voice control. The colors in Voice Control are already preset, so you can just tell the assistant to "set the porch light to warm white" or "set the porch light to blue" and it will work. Despite the lack of in-app timer programming, the bulbs still work great, are easy to set up, and stay connected.
