I almost returned them but finally found out:

1. DO NOT use the suggested PlusMinus app. It just doesn't work (and if it does, don't bother). The interface is a mess that "English as a second language" - the nature of its existence - cannot overcome. Use the Smart Life app. Just download the said app then turn on and off the light you want to connect x5. It starts flashing quickly. Then select "Add device" in the Smart Life app. He should quickly spot the lightbulb. This allows you to rename it and automatically sync it with Alexa (which…

Excellent lamp with quick and easy installation; The application is almost ready.

I opened the box and the first bulb was lit in less than five minutes. I've read about problems finding a 2.4G wireless network, but even connecting to my Orbi system was seamless. The SmartLife app recognized and added the lightbulb immediately. Then I renamed it (Porch) and put it outside. He immediately connected to the application and had no problems. A good set of bulbs, but inconsistent at times.

Bought 4 packs of pears. I was able to get 3 of them to work with no problems, but I couldn't connect the 4th at all after several attempts. The setup is a bit confusing. You install the app, screw in the lightbulb, turn the light on and off until it blinks, and then proceed to the setup step that includes WiFi setup. If the WiFi setup fails the first time, which was done with the two bulbs I had, it goes to the secondary setup where you have to turn the bulb on and off again until it blinks…
