This patrol cap lives up to its role. It looks great from the outside and definitely doesn't lack craftsmanship. It looks more like props for movies or for ceremonial purposes than field uniforms. The cover I received was made in the Dominican Republic, which makes me doubt the slogan "PROPPER: a battle proven brand". a little bit to see that the actual patrol caps issued to US military personnel are made by SEKRI Industries which are based in Kentucky. ADVANTAGES: * The color is fresh and bright. * The cap is breathable * Comfortable enough. durable, like most other patrol caps. It tends to lose its shape. * The upper part of the fabric consists of only one layer. Usually patrol caps have more than one to provide better protection from the sun.
