It was a cold winter and the handle of my snow thrower was frozen. I figured a layer of insulation would solve the problem. My first thought was to try the foam tape around the handle. This idea would work, but I couldn't find anything cheap. Then I thought of bicycle handlebar tape. I bought a Serfas product. I wrapped three handles on my snow thrower (main, auger and drive) and was happy with the result. The product worked fine. While I'm surprised the manufacturer was so inconsiderate to their customers, I'm glad the solution was easy to come by. If I were to wrap my bike's handlebars, I would definitely consider a product from Serfas. The tape was tacky but not "sticky" and wound up easily. Oh yes, it looked good when I was done.
