Unfortunately this was an item that I bought and didn't try until after the return period had expired. I ran Windows in Bootcamp on my Mac, installed BBFly's driver and Forscan's software. My Mac didn't turn on the device because it said it needed more power to run. I felt the fork and it got very hot. I think he shorted out right away. Luckily I didn't damage my truck. My advice: spend the extra money and let Forscan recommend one, like OBLinkEX. I will do that. Much luck! UPDATE - THE REASON THE PLUG DID NOT WORK WAS BECAUSE OF THE USB PORT. MY TECHNICAL FRIEND LOCKED IT UP AND WE SOLDERED A NEW PLUG AND IT WAS ON AND WORKING. GETTING ALL THE UPDATES ON MY F-150. SO MY POSSIBLE WAS JUST LUCKY.
