Review on HIAORS Taotao Roketa Scooter Wheeler by Bart Elbrink

If I could give this CDI 10 stars, I would. My scooter was dead, I just bought it and the previous owner sold it because he couldn't get it to start. The spark plug, spark plug wire/ignition coil assembly has already been replaced. I assumed that if they replaced these parts they would definitely change the CDI as well since it is literally the cheapest part in the entire ignition system. So I spent a couple of days replacing the stator which was painful because it is under the flywheel which is very stuck. So after replacing the stator and it still wouldn't start, I knew it had to be the CDI. So I bought one, put it in place of the old CDI and tested for spark by removing and grounding the spark plug and then cranking the engine. To my delight, I saw light blue sparks jumping between the spark plug electrodes, so I screwed the spark plug back in, sprayed some ether into the carburetor (the gasoline is pretty old), and kicked in a couple of times. He yelled and my face split into a huge grin. Got this 2014 scooter, only 1700 miles, as a trade from a neighbor because he couldn't start it. All because of that eight dollar piece. I am very satisfied and can warmly recommend this CDI to everyone.
