Review on 🛁 LASCO 08-1061 Four in One Bathtub Spout Adapter: Slip Fit Solution for Copper Tub Faucets by Cedric Ford

As other reviewers have pointed out recently (March 2020) the pictured item which is mostly gray plastic parts is not what I received. The item on the box is the same, but the components are different. The instructions printed on the back of the box are just text with no diagrams, which makes them even more confusing as they are not well written. I have to refer to the old instructions attached to the customer's picture. Using the old instruction chart, the "A" part for the slip fit sleeve is now metal instead of plastic as it was very tight on my copper pipe due to the built in internal o-ring. Parts 'B' and 'C' and now just a fixed length plastic grommet so it is imperative that part 'A' is the correct distance from the wall to ensure a tight fit with no leaks. Install it with no leaks. I had to adjust the position of part "A" several times to get the rubber washer properly seated on the last whorl of the rung, which held it firmly against the wall. It took more time and frustration than I expected. I think the original item shown in the photo will be easier to install at the first time.
