Review on Complete Nail Extension Kit: Morovan Poly Gel With 48W LED Lamp, UV Light, And Starter Supplies by Floe Rankin

Perfect for someone trying to switch from acrylic at the salon to doing their own nails at home.The pictures are from my second set with this kit. I’ve used at home dip kits and found them to be messy and the initial result before filing is chunky making it harder to file a good shape. This polygel allows you to cast a decent shape so you don’t have to file as much. I suggest getting a nail drill to cut down how long it takes to file the shape manually.I only have two dislikes:First - the gel colors are not as opaque as I’d like. I suppose you could make the gel thicker but I haven’t tried that yet since I’m still trying out each color.Second - I have bigger nail beds and the plastic nail forms don’t really work for me. After applying the gel to the form(I swear I made a very THIN coat of gel) and securing the from to my nail, the form pushed a lot of the gel to my fingertip causing it to be very chunky/ugly on the underside. I tried to use the brush to pull the gel away from my finger tip but it still cured and felt awkward/uncomfortable. I think a drill would have helped me in that situation. I also felt like it made the gel very thin on my actual nail. This is probably only and issue for me since my nail beds are very wide. But, aside from that complaint, the plastic form gives a beautiful nail top with almost no filing needed. After initially trying the plastic forms I then I tried using the nail form stickers. I preferred the way the sticker kept the gel from gushing to the finger tip but, since my nails aren’t longer, it was hard to keep the sticker close to my nail. It takes a little work and some extra time but I prefer the sticker form bc I feel like I waste less gel.I love that the kit includes rhinestones, glitter and colored tape allowing for cute designs without using polish.
