I received this candle set for my first Thanksgiving craft class and it was beautiful and easy to use. The kids had to make their own candles to take home to the Thanksgiving tables. In our class there are children from 6 to 11 years old and none of them have worked with beeswax before. With a little pre-modeling, everyone could make their own candles, which they proudly took home! An additional bonus: the beeswax candles exude a wonderful, subtle honey scent when burning! The set includes a variety of colors and the wick you need for 20 taper candles. (Simply cut each sheet in half following the instructions for making cones.) You can also make different sizes and styles by cutting the wax differently - YouTube has lots of beginner-friendly videos on how to make other styles. The only thing you will want to use with this kit is a hair dryer. Quickly run the hair dryer over the sheet before rolling the candles, it's even easier. We also used small clay Kemper Pattern Cutters to cut out some decorative wax pieces (just press the cut out shapes into the cone and your body heat is enough to glue them), but the candles were good even without the extra detail . .
