Definitely not worth $110! It's a bit smaller than I expected, and while not that difficult to assemble, it's cumbersome and bulky for one person. The part that goes into the bottom isn't even bolted to the chest anyway, and it's a very thin bottom. one piece. I am very concerned that it will hold any weight as it is quite thin. Another issue is the spring mechanisms that help hold the lid open. The first one went easy, although I had to adjust the way I was holding the lid a few times and find different things to support it to position it so I could screw it on. It would be a little easier with a second person, but I managed it on my own. However, when I wanted to install the second spring mechanism, the real problems started. The screw holes didn't line up at all and I started to wonder if maybe both parts weren't the same and I swapped them out. So I took off the first one, flipped it over and was about to put it back on - and the same one I had the initial problem with didn't fit the other side at all! I ended up making new holes for it by screwing it in, but then the mechanism didn't work and I couldn't close the lid. In the process he ripped the screws out of the holes I drilled in the wood and now I have a mess in my hands. It only works with one mechanism and not the other, but it's not perfect. And certainly not the quality I would expect for this price! I would probably return it if it wasn't a nightmare having to take it apart, repackage and send it back. However, I am using it for the original purpose I bought it for which was hobby supply storage.
