Good chest for toys. Bought with a 45% discount, couldn't resist. Very well packaged, very easy to set up. Don't spam little fingers and only took 15 minutes. I have a problem: two things that keep the lid from slamming shut. When screwing in, they barely reach the pre-drilled holes. I had to move the cover up and down and slowly tighten each screw a little at a time. The wood still cracks and cracks, but it's not bad. I can't justify giving a product, no matter how nice, 5 stars when I have to drill new holes for bolts that attach to hydraulic jacks because the Holes mechanically are off. DO NOT attempt to just drive the screws into position without first drilling new pilot holes or the wood will split (see other people's previous reviews/photos). The toy box is not designed for ton weight, so the bottom is not designed for heavy use. This is easily remedied by adding a 1/4" thick sheet of plywood before…

Definitely not worth $110! It's a bit smaller than I expected, and while not that difficult to assemble, it's cumbersome and bulky for one person. The part that goes into the bottom isn't even bolted to the chest anyway, and it's a very thin bottom. one piece. I am very concerned that it will hold any weight as it is quite thin. Another issue is the spring mechanisms that help hold the lid open. The first one went easy, although I had to adjust the way I was holding the lid a few times and find
