These great sandals feel, feel and last longer than these great sandals Birkenstock foam sandals for kids (we've had a pair of these and found them thin/flexible in comparison). We are not new to the Teva brand but the sizing of these Teva sandals is slightly different and runs large. My child is size 1.5 and wears size 2.5 sneakers; 2 in sandals. Based on other reviews. I ordered them in size 1 and size 13. Size 13 fitted perfectly but didn't leave me room to grow. Size 1 is too big. If there is such a big discrepancy between sizes, Teva should really consider offering half sizes on this model, as the sizing of this model does not fit other Teva sandals and shoes. My kid loved the look, feel and colors of these sandals and wanted to keep them. We would normally wish they could just grow into them, but they were needed for the upcoming holiday and just didn't fit securely enough for coastal walks. I ended up buying and keeping a pair of medium sized Teva sandals. instead of a daughter. This corresponded to the size. She could wear it this summer and maybe even next.
