Rough Country Pitman Fixed Arm Issue

I recently installed a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins 4x4 4 cab truck . Country Drop Control Arm The Rough Country control arm had play in the steering shaft that I couldn't get rid of even after a few tightenings. The steering was unstable, difficult to keep on track and had poor handling over bumps. I don't feel safe and I haven't even ridden on rain-soaked surfaces. I ordered this Tuff Country arrow to see if it would solve the problem. After I replaced the Rough Country arm with this one, the problem started. left and I haven't even gone far enough to do the initial trace. View the bipod from the end of the tie rod side to the end of the steering shaft so the end of the tie rod is facing me. The Rough Country lever is thinner in the tie rod area and angles about 10 to 20 degrees right to left. The Tuff Country case is much thicker and relatively flat horizontally. I feel this contributes to a more stable feel and road feedback. One more note. The Rough Country lever is very wide around the steering shaft. So wide I couldn't put a traction tool on it to remove and replace. Because of this, although the steering shaft had play, I couldn't remove it, so I had to cut and expand it, and then remove it with a large puller. This Tuff Country Shaft fits easily into a puller with a full sized crank and will be a lot easier to remove in the future. The steering gears on these trucks get a lot of play over time so I'll be replacing them next time and the Tuff Country wishbone will also need to be removed. My original has 248,000 miles. In closing, for my steering setup at the moment I have new bearing hubs, XRF ball joints, XRF tie rod (happy to say goodbye to Moog!), adjustable steering rack, 2.5" alignment kit and the responsiveness, stability and have had feedback from the Tuff Country suspension I am very pleased with this footpeg, it fits and performs as it should and is a quality product.
