I needed a pair of doorstops for a special occasion as the traditional doorstop length of about 3 inches didn't work for me. They feel strong, durable and well designed. I expect them to last a decade or more, which makes the price reasonable, but I'm not sure why they seem expensive compared to standard lengths. But if you need an extra 2 inches, this is probably your best bet. Buying two made the price more affordable and I made good use of the second one, using it on an outside gate that had a protruding latch that kept banging against the block wall, causing the latch bolts to loosen from the force of the impact solved. The trap is now protected from damage. Happy homeowner.
