I bought a medium size for my 9 year old and a week later when I asked him why he wasn't wearing his new underwear he said it me they were too small. I had him try them on in front of me and he could barely get them on his left foot, he used to wear eights and grew out of them so of course he just went one size up but this material is terrible and doesn't give or stretch out . I wouldn't recommend it because after reading other reviews I see that some people have the opposite problem, they are too big for a child. You need to find out their size chart or understand why the material is so bad.
