I wasn't sure what to feed my older cat who was slowing down and had hard, dry stool, so I took several cans of cat food to my Veterinarian appointment for her input. I decided to go with Royal Canin Aging 12+. Several years later, I can say it was a good decision.I can only guess that this adopted in 2002 kitty is now 18 years old. He eats 2 full cans of food a day and his appetite is good.With annual vet check ups, he's nearly as healthy as the day we adopted him. Sure the price is high; although I'd rather pay more for quality food and have a healthy pet than the alternative.
