Item arrived as described and quickly. The side pockets are not as deep as we would like but they are as described. I just didn't bother to measure before ordering so it's by no means a negative. The side pockets allow you to store LOTS of things as the sizes are very wide! I already have a hard saddle on my bike. This product allows me to strap into my more permanent saddle to carry twice (almost three times) more supplies than before. And it is very flexible yet durable and well made. I am very impressed with the quality and quantity I can wear. I plan to go hiking this weekend. I couldn't go all weekend before I got this product. I've been looking for a product that suits me for a good week and this one didn't disappoint! BENEFITS: - Carry MANY things with you. Perhaps a gallon of milk can be tucked into the side saddlebag. I know I can put a large gallon bottle of detergent in it AND close it completely! The top bag comes with a shoulder strap. I was initially a bit disappointed with the top pocket as it didn't seem like it would hold much. You'll think the same thing when you get it, but once you start downloading it, you'll find that you can keep packing it. Lots of space. A product just lying around with nothing in it is pretty deceptive. A pleasant surprise! - Saddlebags have excellent and durable handle for manual carry. This too was a pleasant surprise. Came with a very light coating for weather protection. Bright yellow neon yellow, so it also serves as a safety measure so that you can be seen better. - Water bottle pocket on each side of the saddle. .but it's packed and ready to go :)
