To be honest I hate writing reviews but love reading others but I couldn't resist writing a review of this great scale after using it recently and compared with other bathroom scales. I have owned one of these scales for almost 5 years and it has never let me down. Besides the occasional weighing, my wife and I travel the world and we use this scale to measure the weight of our luggage and it gives us accurate readings like a commercial airport scale, not a point more or less, they've never let us down , and it's so much better than those carry-on scales, they never give exact readings, I have a few of them. After about 5 years of ownership we tried to weigh our luggage again and the readings kept changing so out of a hunch I bought new batteries for it and an expensive scale from Walmart to compare in case mine was no longer good. With the new batteries, I compared the weight difference between my old scale and the new one I bought at Walmart, the weight difference between mine and the scale at Walmart was 0.60. The Walmart scale gave me a different reading each time, so I stuck with my old scale, which gave me accurate readings. When I checked the weight of my checked baggage at the airport last month and it exactly matched the weight I received at home with my 49.80 and 50.00 weights, it saved me from taking extra weight from my baggage because the weight limit is exceeded.
