I built a good system out of 3 of these. It was difficult to get the 3/4 NPT to seal even with teflon tape and teflon grease, but it ended up sealing. Has worked great for 2 years. Today when I was changing the filter a small piece of plastic fell off. Unfortunately, this is a fairly important part that forms the channel that houses the O-ring. Without this part the ring will be pushed out and you will not get a seal. Now I have to buy another one, which doesn't make me happy. I really don't want to look for another case brand with compatible threads that fit the top, so I'm stuck with this one. I also don't want to buy 3 new cases and build a completely new system. 1 year warranty, be careful.
