Review on WANCAR Standard 3 Snap Universal Motorcycle by Kenneth Broszko

$20 extra and you have a decent replacement face shield

Very frustrated that I couldn't find a decent 3 clip face shield that would last a long time. I tried this one. First, the clasps were very loose. But not wanting to give up, I took the helmet to my shoemaker and for $15 plus tip he replaced all three buckles. OK, so that's done. Now he sits much tighter. I don't know about the plastic but it doesn't scratch. In fact, it is prone to scratches. After just a few days of light use and maintenance while in storage, it's showing tens and tens. I don't even know what to call her. Probably micro scratches. If you look through it you can see a slight haircut or cobwebs or shavings that have chipped dozens and dozens of times. It's like looking into a very, very soft kaleidoscope. They are not distracted while driving, but are very noticeable at traffic lights etc. look at my picture I got the "hmm that's pretty clear plastic" impression from the sign on day one. Now it's just a plain old shield. He also very rarely hit my chin. Not often enough to return it, but enough to be surprised. I use it with the Daytona XL helmet. I think the search continues.
