Review on ๐Ÿฅ— Efficient and Convenient Vegetable and Salad Spinner with Pouring Spout - Westmark Germany (Red/Clear) by Edwin Kreps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does the job perfectly and with ease!

I'm vegan, so eating vegetables isn't easy for me. I needed a vegetable cutter to make sure all the unwanted leftovers were removed and so I could easily remove excess moisture when I needed to do things like roast kale chips. In my search for a spinner, I looked through too many product reviews to have no idea what to try. I have a friend with an oxo spinner but she was turned off after realizing the plastic top had discolored and eventually decomposed leaving a small amount of plastic on her veggies. And I wasn't impressed with what I saw in stores as they either seemed too small to be effective or awkward to use. And to be honest, I was hoping to get something other than green, which the manufacturer says is best for cutting boards and the like. So I started watching Revain. After looking at a number of models from different manufacturers, I settled on this one. In short, I love it! It's so easy to use - toss in some wet veggies, twist the knob a few times and you'll be done in no time. The lid snaps firmly in place and the mechanism is very smooth and easily adjusted to the speed needed to remove liquids and fine solids. I had no problem holding it in place while twisting the handle and had to use minimal force to hold the spinner in place. And I loved that it came in red too! I think the best indicator of how well it works is the actual results: I filled it with organic triple-rinse kale, twisted the knob three times, and then waited for the spinner. Break; After removing the cabbage, which had been washed three times, a visible amount of dirty, gritty residue remained on the bowl. Yay! Now I know my cabbage is clean! For me this is the best value for money salad and I would say it makes a vegan very happy!
