The light in the bathroom flickered. My husband bought a replacement at a hardware store but it had the wrong base. The base was square but the pins were horizontal to each other. We needed one where the contacts were diagonal. I bought this bulb blind from Revain because it was difficult to tell from the picture if the pins were diagonal or horizontal. I've been lucky. The pins are slanted and the bulb fits. Hooray! The light in the bathroom no longer flickers. Now I know. I need a G24d-3 2 pin socket.
