The headphones are very comfortable, the first time I put them on I was completely shocked, it feels like they are not there and my head is quite massive . Now for the sound, Bose is known for its quality and purity and that's exactly what these headphones have. These headphones were definitely more lively to listen to than my $70 Sennheisers, but surprisingly not much better. If you are on a budget I would definitely go with the Sennheiser as they literally offer almost the same performance for half the price. These headphones are known as medium/high power headphones. So if you listen to rap and house these headphones may not meet your bass needs. So keep looking if you're some sort of bass player of this type of music.) Bottom line: comfort and branding (and the ability to fold) are important to you, then spend the money, but if you just want a pair of really great sounding headphones , check out Sennheiser as they are half the price for about the same quality.
