Great value ball head! It easily fits my D7200 with a 100-400mm lens. It's light, compact and the controls work well. The unit I received didn't have the word Koolenhaoda or any materials on it. The only thing it says in the English manual is "HighLights" and that's the only thing it says on the device. Perhaps this is the only downside - the instructions are in Chinese. At least I think it's Chinese. The main grip/arm that secures the ball has an adjustable tension that needs to be tightened once the ball has flattened out a bit in use. It is spring loaded and can be pulled outward to rotate to the next tighter position on the shaft. The small knob controls the panning motion, which is very smooth. It fits perfectly with ARCA-Swiss mounting plates. It's lighter and more powerful than the $50 head it replaces.
