Review on SZD OMG ATX Tower PC Gaming Case, Tempered Glass Side Panel, USB 3.0 Port, RGB Lighting, Water-Cooling Compatibility, Computer Chassis Desktop Case by Joseph Campos

Well, it's definitely different!

So, yes, the big "OMG" letter on the front is lit up in all its RGB glory. It's definitely something to see. I think only a certain type of people will really like it. If that's what you're into, then great. I'm still not sure, so I won't let the review affect it. It's a full-size ATX case, so there's plenty of room inside. It has a magnetized rubber filter at the top and a small 4" x 4" plastic filter held by clips at the base. The motherboard standoffs are already installed and there is a small package with a few extra screws. You get a glass side panel, but note that it's not hinged in any way. If you loosen the fourth screw it will just fall off, so be careful opening the case from that side. This case has no fans which was surprising given the $89 price tag as I see many other cases on the market at this price point. or even cheaper, which include at least 1 fan. There is I/O on the top of the case, but it's sorely lacking. You get the usual microphone and headphone connections. They have 3 USB ports but only one is UCB 3 and only USB 3.0. Airflow options on the front of the case are limited. It's just limited to a thin, vented piece down the sides from top to bottom about 1 inch wide, and I didn't see a filter there. At this price point ($89 at the time of this review) considering how basic this case is. I have a hard time recommending this. Not when you can get something like the Zalman Z3 Iceberg, which comes with 2 120mm ARGB fans and multiple USB 3 ports on the front I/O panel for just $59. I guess at the end of the day you're paying for the big RGB illuminated "OMG" on the front of the case and that alone isn't worth the higher price tag in my opinion.

Pros
  • RGB OMG logo lighting front panel.
Cons
  • High Price
