This cord is the golden mean. It is bright orange in color and reflects light well. It's quite strong in terms of tensile strength. by no means Amsteel, but durable for most camping. It's easy to work with - thinner, often slightly stronger, reflective ropes are difficult to mess around with untied knots. and the thinner, stronger Dyneema/Spectra rope is often slippery, causing the Prusik to slide too easily. This material has an uneven texture, so it works well for light spine lines and stubborn stretch lines, rivets, and trucker hitches. A NOTICE. The gray version of this material is NOT reflective.
