They looked great but that's where the good ends. I'm on the device used to measure legs and for years it's been just a hair over 13 4E. I've always bought New Balance in 13 4E with no problems until recently when New Balance seems to have changed their pads. I had seen Propet before and knew they catered to platypuses. Ordered 13 5E (XXW). There the length was a bit shorter than what I'm used to, but the width was terrible. The sides of the shoes buckled a lot when I took steps. I ordered a pair high and low, the fit was the same. Not much support but it's not what I need. Also, I have to agree with Benny, I probably would have left them to see if they would stretch if there wasn't one boot from each pair that had a large piece of thread and material that put a lot of pressure on the upper. Foot. Avoid. Even if you're stuck looking for new shoes, let's share ideas. It was in my old New Balance sneakers, which means I'll mow the lawn in my old office shoes if I can't find anything.
