It's hard to find good shoes that sell in wide and extra wide sizes. I have aching legs, knee, back and hip problems. Out of the box they are flat for my taste. They're not flat like skateboard shoes or Chuck Taylor shoes, for example, but they're flat for a diabetic/orthopedic brand.
