Cable runs from the Ethernet port on the house wall to the pool controller a few meters away. Some of the cable routing runs about 6 inches underground. The other section is in a 1-1/2 inch deep groove in the concrete and is covered with paver sand. So far the cable has worked well - the area is regularly dampened as it gets about 1/4-1/2 inch of water each time. the pool filter has been cleaned, the cable works without problems.
